One of the new products Kelly Klosure is developing is a cost effective modular system for creating a jobsite building using two shipping containers. Our design concept is to use a “beefed up” version of our classic panel system using a 2” angle frame in lieu of the 1.1/2” angle as well as a durable and weather tight exterior siding and roofing system. This system will create a 12’w and 20’w roof between two shipping containers and include endwalls to finish off the jobsite building.

Our first step in the design of this system is to load test the basic panels. This will give us a starting point for load capacity in the roof of these buildings. The panels tested to a surprising 45 PSF ultimate load capacity, which is well beyond my goal of 30 psf ultimate. Our next step will be to design the gable roof components and test the full 20’w gable roof shape for ultimate load capacity.  To learn about pricing request a quote here.
