Hi, my name is Steve Kneifl. I have been a member of the Kelly Klosure team for 35 years. (Yes, that means I've been here longer than most of our office furniture!)

I started at Kelly Klosure in Technical Support as a draftsman. In addition to the development of customer assembly drawings, I answered technical questions and helped create solutions to our customers' weather protection challenges.

Later, I moved into the Sales Department and found that I really enjoyed working with customers and appreciated the relationships built over the years of working in that capacity.

During that time, it has been fun to watch our panel technology evolve from a simple “panel and key” concept for construction weather enclosures to a unique panelized building system designed to meet the needs of customers in the industrial, power, and U.S. defense markets.

Working with our customers to develop solutions for their building and enclosure problems has led to some specialized product applications from moveable multi-floor hi-rise weather protection enclosures to stackable catapult enclosures on aircraft carriers, as well as sophisticated buildings with automated “rolling roof” sections for maintenance of large turbines.

It was working with our government agencies that prompted us to obtain a General Services Administration (GSA) Contract to simplify the purchasing process and guarantee the government the lowest pricing for Kelly Klosure products. I have administered Kelly Klosure’s GSA contract since 1995 and served on GSA’s “Alliance for Quality Business Solutions Council” for the past six years. 

My wife Kathy and I have two grown sons, and this past year we welcomed our first grandchild to our family!

I have always been a big sports fan especially baseball, football and golf. I've been an avid golfer since I was 10 years old! My love of Nebraska football developed when I would listen to Husker games during my dad’s milk route on football Saturday afternoons.
