Manufacturing Upgrades

Kelly Klosure is continually making improvements to our manufacturing facility.  With Apples new Iphone release yesterday, I thought it’d be a perfect time to discuss some of the machinery upgrades we have done.

In the last year we’ve added a brand new DoAll 500SNC Structural Band Saw.  This saw features a saw head that swings 60 degrees for mitered cuts and also has programmable indexing that makes quick and accurate cuts.

We’ve also added a brand new Piranha P-110 Single Operator Ironworker.  The P-110 includes punching, bending, bar shear, angle shear, round bar shear, and an integrated coper/notcher.    Piranha’s incomparable coper/notcher station outperforms any other ironworker in capacity and speed, which helps our fabricators make a better fitting product for you.

Our newest machinery addition is a custom built CNC Dual Punch Station with a Kentucky Gauge Feed positioner.  We are having this custom built to meet our specific needs.  This programmable machine will pull angle and channel through a punch station and punch holes with precise accuracy.  This much anticipated machine will replace the “old technology” CNC machine Kelly has had in production for 35 years.

Why do you care??  Better quality, better fit and finish, more efficient.   Improvements on quality while keeping cost down.
