We recently completed a GSA Contractor Assistance Visit (CAV).  We have had a CAV about every 18 months for the duration of our GSA contract.  During a CAV a GSA Industrial Operations Analyst (IOA) checks up on our policies, procedures, and practices with regard to compliance with government rules and regulations and insures that we are maintaining our discount policy in accordance with our GSA contract.  We have always had very strong compliance systems in place and have had several consecutive “Excellent” ratings on our report card from GSA.

Maintaining a good compliance record is important in that it allows our government customers to purchase with confidence that we know and follow the rules involved with purchases placed against our schedule contract.

This is the same kind of diligence we put in to our products and service with our customers.  Our internal  policies and procedures regarding order processing, approvals, and delivery scheduling work to benefit our customers by providing checks and balances that insure they receive what they ordered.
